River Valley Church #105 and #106

Our home church in MN is River Valley Church. They are on mission to send out 500 missionaries across the globe to share the Gospel in places that have no access unless someone preaches to them about Jesus. In 2018, after selling our home and Marty ending his professional career, we came to Thailand. We went there not knowing why God was calling us to live in a country we had never been to, and with a people group that we knew very little about. What we did know is that Thailand as a country, was referred to as one of "The Never Reached". Meaning, they had little or no access to the Gospel or knowing who Jesus is. We knew in our hearts that needs to change! It is now March of 2024 and we continue to work alongside Thai Pastors in helping them to remove obstacles that have hindered them from doing what God has called them to do in making Jesus known and raising up disciples!

Pastors of Thai Vision Church

One of the Pastors and his wife we work alongside are with Thai Vision Church. They have a burden for their neighborhood and the children that are left at home alone (while parents are away at work). God called them to start an after school ministry to help children in their studies at school as well as learning how to be in community. The children know the truth of Jesus Christ and the Gospel. Many of them now have become part of the church and are being discipled, as well as leading worship on Sundays.

God uses our English speaking abilities in Thailand to open doors for new relationships

Connie has been helping local Thai women practice English. These women are Maebon's (housecleaner, cook, sometimes help care for children). Many times they are working for foreigners who speak English and possibly no Thai Language at all. Their time together has led to the ladies studying the bible and having a special time of prayer together when they meet.

And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"

These shoes are those who are inside of Thai Vision Church. Learning the truth, developing a relationship with Jesus Christ. Each person pair of shoes are worn by a first generation believer.
